I managed to visit Iceland in the month of December, when the temperature was -13 Degrees there, fun times. I had never been exposed to such low temperatures. Our clients used to keep laughing at me because my nose would become red due to piercing winds. I don’t deny sleeping empty stomach on some evenings because I just could make my way to the restaurant, on foot.
But I must say Iceland is a beautiful place, I did my due diligence as a tourist, it was great. I did not take a lot of pictures unfortunately but I will always remember the geysers, lagoon, Reykjavik downtown party scene etc.
I was amused that Iceland is sooo safe, women could just leave their babies out in the Sun and go inside to shop around. Icelanders are amazingly sweet people, many of them used to help me get up since I would keep slipping on the black ice, clumsy me. I saw their Prime Minister walking by while I was out for lunch once and I still remember, a shooting had happened in Iceland while I was there and it caused such uproar, since it was a very unusual incident for them 🙂 we actually stopped working and turned on the news. Great experience….
