Just finished watching PK movie, I got goosebumps while watching this movie, which usually does not happen. Precious and refreshing dialogues about human beliefs and our ways of working, how ironical they are. Got reminded of an old movie of Paresh Rawal Oh My God which was a little similar.
Aamir Khan exudes innocence is this character, loved his acting. The way he distributes pamphlets searching for all/any God because he was told God can help him find his lost communication device to get back to his planet. He wears a funny yellow colour helmet thinking that God will be to zoom onto him and help him, he probably got the yellow part from the thief who was wearing a yellow pagdhi. It is so adorable when PK puts God’s stickers on his cheeks in self defense because he understood the importance of God for humans and people will not dare punch him because of this. He understands human rules and regulations, norms and plays around with them to survive. Of all the languages Bhojpuri was chosen for PK’s communication medium lol. And why would language transference take 6 hours, aliens would most probably have great computing power to be able to absorb and learn human language in a matter of minutes/seconds. It was interesting to see that his eyebrows were filled up like Arab women to make his features look very set and pasted. Anushka dorns a very cute hair cut but her lip job, feel sad for you woman! I The only scene which perturbed me was the depiction that normal Indians and Pakistanis share a cold relation which is not true, we meet so many Pakistanis, we sit and laugh with them. Anyhow, wish we all humans could think like PK without PK 🙂
